I recently had a marvelous opportunity to join in an enlightening episode of the Nonidentity Podcast, hosted by the insightful Lee Roberts, and what a conversation we had! It was an experience that felt both profound and enlightening, as we dove into the narrative of my life, focusing not just on my adventures in investments and real estate but also on the very personal story of how my childhood shaped my views on money, stability, and chasing abundance.

We talked about my childhood that affected my mindset and viewpoint about money and what I wanted for my own life. I wanted more stability, more abundance, instead of living above my means, struggling to have money. But it was these viewpoints that ignited a fierce desire in me for something more – the kind of wealth that brings peace of mind. This longing led me down the exciting path of investing, a decision that has profoundly changed my life.

My investment journey began when I dipped my toes into the world of private lending. It wasn’t just about putting my money somewhere; it was about opening a door to the vast potential real estate held. My curiosity and eagerness to learn more saw me eventually owning properties. We also got really into the nitty-gritty of navigating market uncertainties during the pandemic. We also talked about the deference in real estate vs stock market.

Another part of our conversation that felt incredibly close to my heart was discussing what it’s like to be a woman in the traditionally male-dominated field of real estate. Breaking through those barriers and setting a precedent for more women to follow suit has been both challenging and profoundly rewarding.

And here’s something I don’t often talk about but felt incredibly important to share — managing mental health amidst the whirlwind of business, family, and investing. It’s a delicate balance, one that requires patience, understanding, and a lot of self-care.

I can’t tell you how refreshing it was to chat with Lee and share these insights, reflections, and experiences with all of you through the Nonidentity Podcast.
